Privacy Notice
How we collect, use and protect the information you give us when you register to visit the exhibition.
In effect from 1 January 2026
1. Who is responsible for your data
Your registration is collected and used by MMI Asia Pte Ltd, together with the co-organizers of Ceramics Vietnam & Stone Vietnam 2026 (“we”, “us”), acting as the controller of the personal data described below. You can reach us at aseanceramics@mmiasia.com.sg.
2. What we collect
We collect only what the registration form asks for, and only what you enter:
- Identity and contact — first and last name, business email address, mobile number, and, if you provide it, your LinkedIn profile.
- Professional details — company or organization, company website, job title, position, country of residence and nationality.
- Your interests — the answers you give to the survey questions: the exhibitors you would like to meet, conference topics, the sources you follow, your fields of interest, your company’s sector, and the events you have attended.
- Your communication preference — whether you asked to receive event updates, and your acceptance of these terms.
- Technical records — the IP address the registration was sent from, the language you used, and the date and time. We keep these to detect abuse of the form.
We do not ask for, and you should not enter, any special category data — health information, government identifiers, financial details, or anything similar. The form has no field for it.
3. Your entry code
When you register we generate a numeric entry code and its QR representation. The code is randomly generated: it is not derived from your name, email or any other detail, so the QR on your badge does not reveal anything about you to anyone who photographs it. It identifies your registration record to us and to the entrance staff, nothing more.
4. Why we use it
- To admit you to the exhibition — issuing your badge and checking your code at the entrance.
- To send you your entry code by email, with the QR attached.
- To run and plan the event — capacity, conference programming, and understanding which topics visitors care about. Reporting of this kind is done in aggregate.
- To send you event updates — only if you chose to receive them. You can change your mind at any time; see section 8.
We rely on your consent, given when you submit the form. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal effects.
5. Who we share it with
- Our co-organizers and group companies, for the purposes in section 4.
- Service providers acting on our instructions — hosting, email delivery and badge production. They may process your data only to provide that service to us.
- Exhibitors whose stand you visit — if, and only if, you allow an exhibitor to scan your badge. Scanning shares your name, company and business contact details with that exhibitor so they can follow up. If you do not want that, do not present your badge for scanning.
- Authorities, where we are legally required to disclose.
6. Where it is stored
Registration data is stored on servers operated for the exhibition and is accessible only to authorised organizer staff. Data may be processed in Singapore and Vietnam. Transfers are made under contractual safeguards.
7. How long we keep it
We keep your registration for 24 months after the close of the exhibition, so that we can answer queries about attendance and invite you to the following edition, then delete or anonymise it. Aggregate statistics that no longer identify you may be kept longer. If you ask us to delete your data sooner, we will — see section 8.
8. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to:
- Give you a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Correct anything that is wrong.
- Delete your registration.
- Stop sending you updates, without deleting your registration.
Use the data request form, or email aseanceramics@mmiasia.com.sg. We will ask you to confirm your identity before we act — this protects you from someone else deleting or obtaining your registration — and we aim to respond within 30 days.
Withdrawing consent does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it. If you delete your registration before the event, your entry code stops working and you would need to register again to attend.
9. Security
The form is served over an encrypted connection, access to the registration database is restricted to authorised staff, and the confirmation link that shows your details is signed — someone guessing at entry codes cannot use it to look up who registered.
10. Changes
If we change this notice we will update the date shown at the top of this page. Material changes affecting how we use data you have already given us will be notified by email.
11. Contact
